My brother also got me the Curt hit hitch lock as well, you can see that in the pic if you look closely. But yeah, I’m with you regarding no lock, I always use one or leave it in my truck.

I’m still looking for a flip cover switch for that button so I don’t do what you did and have a heart attack.[/QUOTE]

Agreed. It would make an excellent feature. Growing up with Airwolf, I'd love the start safety flip switch with the gravy on top of the airwolf howl pumped through the speakers for about 10 seconds. Oh yaaaa.

That show was so hokey. Bell B222 had Capton wire that was brittle , LTS101 series eng. had serious bearing issues .It wasn't until Honeywell bought them that they made it to TBO.

Is yours a 2wd or 4wd? You should be able to do the front and back in less than an hour honestly. Tips and handy tricks:
    jack front up
block it up with jack stands
remove the sway bar end link from the sway bar, just the top nut
remove the nut from the lower shock bolt
remove the 4 bolts from the lower ball joint
remove the coupling nut that bolts the rubber line from the shock to the frame mount
remove the 3 bolts from the top shock mount
use a 36" pry bar and put it in the hole in the front of the A-arm and push downward to get the lower A-arm to pivot downward and you should be able to slip the lower bolt out and then pull the whole shock assembly out by hand
do the same thing on the other side
    installation is the reverse
use RED loctite on the lower ball joint bolts and lower shock bolt

    None yet.
Limited so Awd/4x4. And I figure an hour to 2 just to be safe since I will be going slow and using a lift and doublechecking everything on the torque values every step of the way.

Thank you for the words of confidence and the tips.

Yesterday ran it through the car wash I have been using last couple years. Always did nice job. Recently taken over by new owner. New Kiosk & doesn't except gift cards I had, the lady punched me in for the "top" wash. They no longer hit the front/rear W/pressure was before entering, the shammy wheels no longer., No tire spray. I always get out after & wipe down rear window. The lift gate still had road grime from last 2 nuisance snow storms. Really sucks because the previous owner cared, would wash the scrubbers down & these new owners are all about volume. Sad. Have to find another one for the winter months.:facepalm::frustrated:

    Fumoto valve, metal filter housing
New to me 2022 Off-road Premium with only 13000 kms. Today I installed the Fumoto Valve and will change to the metal filter housing when I change my oil next. Was able to install the fumoto valve without losing any oil by using my shop vac in the fill port. Worked like a dream.

    welcome to the forum.
I've done both. The drain valve has made oil changes a million times easier.

had to replace passenger side low-beam bulb this morning. H9s have lasted a good while, had to put an H11 back in for the time being. Ordered some Osram H9s for replacement.

New shirt came in with the heritage colors and TRD style sticker. Now I have to convince the wife to put them on her 4R.
