@orcking So did you ever decide on a set of tires. I plan on doing something similar with my Limited. Keep the 20's and get a little more aggressive tire.

@Airdam What is the widest tire you can put on the 20" Limited wheel without a lift kit?

I decided to keep my 20s.. I like them a lot, does not make sense to go to 17 for no reason..
I still have a nice set of Michelin MS on them.. Once they go I would probably go little aggressive as well...

Looks like 255mm is the widest tire approved on Limited 20x7 wheels.

On 17in world one of many benefit is you can run upto 275mm tires on SR5 or TRD Pro 17x7 wheels and can run upto 285mm on TRD Off-road 17x7.5 wheels.

    On a 5th gen 4R?
275/55-20 fits with no lift but if its got side biters it might rub the mud flap. The BFG AT 275/55-20 are CONSIDERABLY narrower than other makes with the same size tire. I know measurements are measurements, but a friend of mine has a GMC Sierra with 275/55-20 BFG AT he got a year ago and those are wider wheels than ours and his tires look like a pizza cutter compared to mine which are the same size on my Tundra.

285/55-20 fits with no rub on 1.5" lift keeping mud flaps (might have to pin passengers side inner fender forward some rub and some dont)

305/50-20 fits with no rub on 2.5" lift keeping mud flaps (will have to pin both passengers and drivers side inner fender forward 1/2")
