Anyone has experience Velox rear quarter delete?

I guess if you were replacing a broken window it could work. But it’s probably more expensive than buying a new window. And I’m not sure you should use it as a weight bearing panel, since it probably relies on the same adhesive as a glass replacement would.

To me, I like the Velox gull-wing doors for a couple hundred more. It adds the utility of two additional openings. And if you have molle panels installed, the gull wings essentially become two additional lockers that make use of unused space.

 

I don’t see the advantage.. at $600.00 a pair it’s a little steep for me. I don’t see a “security” advantage, as they infer. Plenty of other windows to smash! My 2 cents..

 

Yikes, I didn’t realize these were for one, not the pair. I liked the gullwing, but it might be better to just use the hatch or the back doors lol

 

Seems like only IG wheelers get these.

 

Just read the description on that. It says "...for a vulnerable area to protect against smash and grabs".

Okay, what about the other six windows?

 

Looks like a useless item and big waste of money.

 

Simple, maybe they’ll release a kit to turn your 4Runner into a panel van!

I just did 3M 2080 semi-gloss to cover mine. Should save you about $550 for the same benefit.
