Greetings. Just bought a 2007 4Runner with 220K miles on it. One owner, garage kept, serviced only at Toyota dealer for life of vehicle. Car was veering right when applying the brakes, Check engine light is on, VSC Track light is on and tire pressure light is on. Took to local Toyota dealer and they said it needs front brake pads, rotors and calipers for $1,800 with OEM parts and labor. Seemed a little high but about right. Also told me sway bar links were leaking and wanted $484 to replace/fix. And radiator was leaking and would cost $2K. Thing was I took it to my mechanic of 30 years who did an PA state inspection and said it was in good shape. I can fix myself but lookin for others thoughts on costs and whether I even need to worry about sway bar links.
