Penn reels too? I love setting the "clicker" so they run with it. Reminds me of when they hooked Jaws.

 

yup, I catch 90% of the fish on my boat with that rod reel set up. I love it. I have 3 or 4 others for backup for trolling.

 

I'm biased toward Shimano.

Just me though.

My Collection. Don't mind the towels my dog thinks the wood is her chew toy.

 

looks you have some major money there in reels. I have a few spin cast Shimano's and this one. Good stuff.

 

Buy a boat they said right? LOL.

Keeps me sane so I deal with the lighter pockets.

 

A trip last Julyt

 

Just got back from this trip today. I caught 3 tuna for a total of 234 lbs. One of mine is the second from the left on the hanging rack

 

Has eggs!

 

2023: Landed and ate 143 trout

2024: "Fish Kill" thousands died at the hatcherys. Im only at 46 trout but got the 21 inch,16 inch girth, 6 pound 3.5 ounce Brown with Tiger genetics getting done at the taxidermist. Gonna take like 15 months!

Well trout stocking has been tough. But, Spring is right around the corner.

 

I caught all of these in our 3/4 acre pond:



The pond was in pretty rough shape when we got the farm back in 2008. The LSU Ag Extension helped us get it in shape and the fishing is great.
