I have a 2018 Toyota 4Runner Off Road and live in upstate New York. A few days ago, while driving, my 4Runner slipped on snow and I lost control of it. The car slipped on the other lane, spinned and hit the guardrail (on the side of the road) with the driver side back corner. I have not noticed anything unusual so far, but I am wondering if there`s something I should be concerned about. Any input is much appreciated. Thank you!

It doesn't look like you hit it too hard. If you can live with the way it looks, I wouldn't be concerned about anything at all.

Welcome to the forum from Wisconsin!

A little touch up paint will make it bearable until you are ready to have it repainted.

The good news is white paint can usually be matched successfully.

Welcome to the forum. There’s this dude on here, somethin’-Loco. He crashes all the time. Always claims he’s only 50% at fault though. He might be able to tell you how to get Frosty the Snowman to pay half.

You might be able to get a view of the bodywork behind the bumper cover by removing the mudflap.

It doesn’t look like a hard hit, but if you’re not sure you could take a peek behind the mudflap to see if there’s any bent body panels, or if there is damage to a body vent flap that resides behind the bumper cover. Or you could also remove the bumper cover, which isn’t horribly difficult if you’re inclined to do it yourself.

No warning lights on and only visible damage with no change in drive ability, You should be good by drivers seat of the pants reaction.

no I don’t think you caused any damage to the tires, the need to be benched till summer. If your driving in snow, I would suggest a better tire, some thing with some more tread, like a good all season.
