i remember this. wild that he strolled right past you.

i ran some errands and got a car wash yesterday...noticed that when i switched the button to the right for the passengers side mirror it didnt respond when i pushed the directional buttons. tried a couple times and it eventually worked...hope its not a problem. my tpms light is on too but i have checked the tire pressure and they are all fine. annoying.

 

If he was the perp?? Most likely But I can't identify & he walked past earlier & left the parking lot before we finished eating. So coincidence that a person fitting the description came later that night & not him???

 

I've only been involved in one deposition (Lemon Law suit). It was interesting. They'll walk you through it. Just tell them what you remember. Try not to give long answers to questions that could be answered with a "no, I didn't", or simply "yes". You're not on trial, and the attorneys know depositions are new territory for most people.

One thing I was told was that it was ok to estimate. The standard example they use is:

"If I asked you how long this table was, it's ok if you say, 'About 6ft'".

Keep in mind, everything you say will be recorded. Probably best not to say anything like, "After a few drinks, I was feeling sort of buzzed, but knew I was probably ok to drive home."

Ask for immunity, then admit to every bad thing you've ever done on the record.

 

Be ready for it to be a "must subscribe to" by the time you get a new vehicle.

 

I'm sure the Defense attorney would never let me testify due to the fact I worked for NJSP for 10 yrs in the Aviation division. So far been summoned 2 different times for Jury duty only to never be selected & I want to go do it just to experience it.

 

Installed my new canvasback cargo liner. Seem really nice, and I found a couple of dog treats wrapped up in the liner when I unfolded it.

 

Did the treats taste good?

 

Rolled over to 6200 at court house today for my deposition. PS the guy is a real POS!!! Murdered a young man trying to sell a dirt bike!,

 

My client pleads the 5th.

 

Drove the 2011 to the auto show in Va. beach, Va. hoping to look at the new 4Runner. Toyota lady said the weather was too bad to get one there. I sat in a Supra to check it out and thought I would have to get someone to help me get out of it. They are low to the ground and I'm old. LOL

 

My story is prob a bit deeper. Back in 2004, my dad passed away. I decided to stay at Ole Miss for summer school (so I could hurry up and grad and not be an emotional basket case at home). My sis graduated that year from HS.

I lived in on campus housing and was working the front desk to make some money. A desk worker (male) had left a note asking if anyone needed their shifts cover to let him know.

My sis graduated on a Thursday and I had a shift that day. I asked that guy to cover and he did.

Friday, I head back to Oxford cause I had a shift overnight at the front desk. By Sunday, we had learned a female RA had been killed and her body had been found by fishermen at nearby Sardis Lake. Of course, everyone was in shock.

By Monday, I had a missed call from Oxford Police needing to question me about the murder of that girl.

I call them back and set up a time to be interviewed by detectives.

As it turns out, that boy and girl had been in an "on-off again" relationship. They were on again, and had a fight at his off campus apt. He killed her there, drove to Sardis Lake, and dumped her body.

Local police were questioning me bout my connection with him. I explained my side and that I had beaucoup witnesses that I wasn't in Oxford that night and was out of town.

But to say the least, i was nervous as hell.

He later was convicted on his murder charge.

We are begging for rain/snow in AZ lol. We can't even remember the last time we had any significant precipitation.

 

The weather was too bad to get a 4Runner there? That’s pretty funny. They should have put it in 4WD and drove it there.

 

Swapped out the old mirrors for the RAV4 blind spot mirrors.

Promptly dropped the old passenger side mirror so there’s no going back!

 

You never will anyway.

 

I did a day trip to Jefferson NC to look at some land. The weather service was wrong about the incoming ice. I did find out that the bronco 4 wheel shifting process is a bit dorked up.

That was a hell of a wash, even the Bilstein and don't tread on me stickers came off!

Can't say I'm not disappointed in the fang lights though...

Got these from a buddy who went longtravel

 

Ordered Bilstein 5100 rear shocks for the upcoming suspension swap I am about to do, just to make sure the back is covered on the extra weight from the 3rd row.

Going from the worn out 2014 limited xreas to 2022 off-road suspension I got in trade from @Spare Parts , thanks again sir.

Speaking of which if anyone has done this swap and has any tips I should know other than what’s posted online and in the videos feel free to let me know.

Or if anyone who has done this is nearby to zip 37764 exit 407 in TN, I will have extra parts for trade as well as moonshine from where I work if you want to come lend a hand, I will have access to a bay lift in a heated garage with plenty of tools on a weekend, so should make an easier time for it. Lol.

 

Washed it to get all the grime off it from the snow we had this week in the DFW area.

Still getting used to the new Rav4 blind spot mirrors I installed the other day. It's nice having them since I have very dark tinted side and back windows that sometimes hinder the visibility.

 

I’ll be watching closely. Currently have a 2015 Limited with a “sweaty” xreas on it.

 

Agency 6 shackle block, late birthday gift.

 

Sadly mine has passed that point, now I just hear metal to metal contact when the suspension articulates through it. Like the fluid has left the lines/reservoir, but never any leakage during my ownership.

If you were closer I would say bring yours on down and let’s get both of them done in one evening if you had the suspension to swap while I have lift access.

In all honesty from everything I have read/watched it just looks time consuming with jacks and stands, so I am hoping having a lift and jacks will speed it up and save my back and me a headache.

Hardest time I had was finding all the torque requirements for the bolts for reinstalling.

And with the suspension done I am wanting to get a 4 wheel alignment immediately after, then hit up discount tire to get a rotation and road force balance, this should cover every facet in one swoop.

 

I wouldn’t put the shackle on until I needed it . It screams STEAL ME just hanging there .
