Need to drive home from Florida and need to pass through Louisville on Thursday? Hoping the roads will be ok.

I'm about 45 miles from Louisville. Interstates are a priority. More snow is coming Friday night. The low for Thursday morning is 4 degrees. Be careful on bridges, especially ones on a curve. Also, watch out for our world-famous potholes.

Wow. That’s is so kind of you. I so hope I don’t have to but I will if needed. Our goal is to make it to Louisville on day one from Florida. I’m not a rookie at snow driving but it really doesn’t matter if you hit ice. Happy New Year brother.

Dayton, Ohio area I-75 is ok. Most roads are ok now. But, watch out for drifts and ice.

Just before the holidays, we stayed just north of Knoxville TN, we went to Buc-cee’s 3 times, lunch, dinner and once the next morning for gas and what not. First time my young adult kids have ever been to one, so we had to get their count up.

It's easy to spend more inside than you do on gas if traveling with family. Gotta love the super clean bathrooms!!!

Made it through Louisville last night. Wasn’t horrible but we did see some ice. Once we made it through Kentucky, Indiana was good and Illinois was as well. Thank you everyone!

Louisville has pot holes? Back when I used to live in Michigan, I thought Michigan was the king of pot holes. Some PAVED roads were so bad I thought that maybe they had been carpet bombed by B-52s. :curls:

Not uncommon for 4 or 5 cars to be off to the side of the freeway with flat tires in Louisville. I-65 by the hospital was a tire popper/rim bender earlier this year.
