Up here in the NorCal regions we’ve had our share of loss during the summer months. We’ve had more acreage burned by comparison but nowhere near the amount of structures (homes, businesses), vehicles, etc. destroyed compared to what’s happening in the south right now.

I’ve already heard back from all of my friends and family that they are all safe. One friend evac’d last night from the eastern side of the Hurst Fire, wasn’t a mandatory call but elected to get the hell out of there to avoid being trapped by traffic jam-ups! What’s most important is that all of my friends and family are safe, materialistic items can be replaced, lives cannot!

My heart goes out to all those going through this difficult time, may they all recover from this event safely and quickly.
