So, I went to change low beam bulbs and ran into this... Is this normal or are these aftermarket lenses? It makes no sense to not have access to change bulbs without having to remove the whole lense, but I'm guessing that is going to be my only option. Also, has anyone had problems with both bulbs blowing at once? I've checked the fuses and they all appear to be in working order.

No need to remove the whole lense, that side is a pain in the ass but that's just a cap. Can be done but it sucks. Just wait till you try to get the bulb back in. lol

Those pics are of each side. The dust cover is stuck right up against the metal and unfortunately, there is no room at all to even unscrew them and pull them off.

Maybe this will show better what I'm saying, but yeah, there doesn't seem to be any other way, unfortunately, than pulling the whole assembly.

Wow, I have a 2019 and it's not like that.

That's not right, did you get into an accident that pushed it back? I guess you will have to do it old school and remove the whole lense. You will have to realign it as well.

No, I just got it this past July with a clean bill of health. The headlights are aftermarket, but I still don't understand why the hell they would be set up like this. Might just buy a new set and replace them since I'll have to go through the process of removing them to get to the bulb anyways. Thank you for responding!

you be surprised on how many new vehicles you need to take shit apart to just change the bulb.

Its not like before just stick your hand down there and change in seconds.

Yeah that is not normal. The housing opening seems to be pointing a completely different way.... Here is what my 2018 looks like. Seems that aftermarket headlight design is not very well thought out!

Let's see a pic of the lights themselves because something tells me they're aftermarket.

Let us know what brand of aftermarket headlights you have. Current pic indicates the cover is at least coming loose a little but in order to get that bulb cover off versus a stock headlamp assemble.
