    Hello
I’ve had some experience using Iron Man front and rear shocks with overload springs… Tempted to do it again, but curious as to whether the 5100 or 6112 series Bilsteins would be a better alternative. Anyone have experience or suggestions?thanks

I put the Iron Man overload shocks in spring into an 05 LX 470… I’m about to make over an ‘O2 stock 4Runner SR5…
Although I have owned a 1st gen SR5 4Runner, beefed up the front end w/ Sumo springs and ran Bilsteins in that, I never owne a 3rd gen 4Runner and I know they’re already basically a Tacoma looking a bit more sedate. So curious what other folks experience has been and what might be recommended… Thanks

Bilsteins tend to be more recommended on here, however I went with iron man on my 5th gen, so far happy with them. This is the first time I have ever upgraded a suspension, so I have limited experience.

So I have some updates to report (on the 3rd gen 4Runner transformation re: front end suspension) ....as usual, more questions and a few painful & costly lessons!
I have some issues on the front end - due to the lifting -
and had intended to replace the front Upper Control Arms (UCA) with SPC 25460s but IMMEDIATELY discovered that I would still have pretty major caster and camber issues (not Toe)...
TO be clear, after initially installing the new SPC UCA, the camber and caster were WAY out and the tires were canted at such a ridiculous angle, not even safe to drive, let alone enjoy the ride....so I have temporarily removed these SPC UCA items until I find a wise compatible LCA solution.
    Suggestions?
Q: Anyone have a reasonable cost, but quality / long term reliability solution? Im told by SPC that I need to likely replace the lower control arms too, but I want to do that with a careful wise compatible choice....unfortunately, SPC does NOT sell a compatible lower control arm product.
    Anybody have experience?

I did install front end IronMan America overload shocks...(they look amazingly robust, and did in fact lift the front end about 3", more or less.
I then added Sumo springs in the front.
I also added new Iron Man rear springs (of the 3 choices, went with the medium load range), and Timbrens, and the rear shocks also from IronMan...I needed to add an additional rear spring spacer to give proper rake / angle to offset the front, and also adjusted the (rear) pan hard bar, and replaced rear control track bars as they were pretty worn out.
