Upgraded my dash cam to one that includes a rear view camera that would mount on the hatch glass. Poking around it seems to be a shitshow on getting that cable to the back, with the curtain airbags, plastic trim, stiff headliner, etc.

Anybody have a how-to on this project? I searched multiple terms but came up blank.

Much simpler than I thought, for anyone looking to do this. The only challenges are getting the camera wire past the B pillar, then to the back corner. Pop a few pieces of interior trim away from their mounting points, and use a straightened coat hanger to fish it through. Probably took me no longer than 30 minutes.

Follow the factory wiring and washer hose down the passenger side door sill.

Have any of you taken pics of the process?

Sorry, I did not. Any questions, though, just ask.

    Thank you.
Once I get off my tail and get my camera ordered, I'll be asking more about the process.

I used plastic pry bars and slid it under the head liner. I attached my camera directly to the plastic button that holds up the head liner. You can buy pre made pieces on Etsy that slide under the button.

I am getting ready to do this when the weather warms up a little. Have a 3 channel VanTrue dash cam.

Are there any videos or pics on this procedure ... anywhere ??

That's exactly how I did it.
