New Old Guy, 23 Off Road

Hi all, been a 4x4 owner since the late 60's, 46 Willys Jeep w/buick/olds/jeep V6, overdrive, 488 gears, GM saginaw steering, blah blah blah. (Still have it) Also a 93 4x4 Explorer, MT and transfer case, manual hubs, 373 gears (came with 327s....why for 4wd), f150 rear springs, all poly bushings, (had it for more than 15 years). As it is old and tired 265k miles. I decided to get something that will probably last until I don't need a car any more. so I now have a 23 4runner off road. (too bad they don't come with MT) Minor adds, oil catch can, rubber floor mats, window shades. Will have to drive it for a while before serious mods.
Meanwhile, I would like to add a sliding cargo tray, can anyone help with that?

 

Welcome. We’re in the same boat. Have a 2020 ORP that’ll likely be my last truck, fingers crossed.
I’d look at Goose Gear. I’m considering their rear seat delete plate system myself. You do pay a premium for what some here have built themselves but I like the finish on the G. Gear systems over raw ply. in most cases.

Welcome. There several videos out there of custom trays with fancy drawers if needed. I am sure you can fab one up if you are handy with wood, or get a buddy that can help you. Seems like and easier project that gears!

Sliding tray can be retrofitted but it, in my opinion , is way too much in Coast when all required parts are obtained from the OEM.

Keep an eye out on here as we have some members willing to swap to the flat floor at times. Location always seem to be the "X" factor in regards to being quick to catch one.
