My dash warning light is on after snow & ice’d on my tk in 25-30° weather. It’s been on 3+ days now. I can’t turn on or change any settings. The vehicle is clear of the elements now.

Welcome. Usually the PCS warning will clear after the sensor has been cleaned and driven a few miles with the clean sensor.

Had this turn on for me driving the PA turnpike on saturday. Wiping away all the snow/slush had it back in order.

I’ve noticed in heavy rain the pcs unavailable warning will come on. Seems to clear up fairly quickly.

New here. Ran into a similar problem where in heavy weather my PCS would disable while driving. I have a 2021 4runner SR5. This past fall the system was disabled for the majority of November. My frustration is that the cruise control would not function. I started to look in to see what the issue might be. I found the wire harness behind the sensor was full of water. So much that it started draining onto my leg when I pulled it out. I didn't see any issue with the loom or with any of the connectors so I was confused why so much water was in there. I dried the harness out I inspected it for corrosion it seemed to be OK. When i reinstalled it i used heavy electric tape. Home Depot sells some that is rated for outdoor use. Needless to say I wrapped the **** out of it connectors and all. We've had some heavy rain and snow in the Chicago land area since then. No problems whatsoever. I didn't need to replace the harness or the sensor or anything. I figured I would put this out there so that frustrated owners have something look for when troubleshooting.

Interesting, my PCS alert just showed up for the first time yesterday, a couple times in very heavy rain but also went away not long after.

Just in case, you can revert to “classic” cruise by holding down the cruise button and I personally use it more due to my sense (unconfirmed) that adaptive cruise is a bit too brake happy.
