    Hello!

Been working on my lift installation for a while (2007 4runner limited) and snapped 3 out of the 4 bolts holding the rear sway bar to the axle. Since I'm on jack stands, it's a little tight to start trying to get them all out by drilling/extracting them (like 6 to 8 inches of room from floor to axle with very limiting drilling angles) so I was looking at any other possibilities..

Any sway bar replacement options that don't require the original brackets? Sway bar delete? etc...

Lifting 3" in the rear. Deleted the adjustable air bags and replaced by simple Icon springs and Bilstein shocks.

If my only option is to get those bolts out somehow, can I drive with the sway bar disconnected and make it to a shop that can actually put the truck on a lift and make it much easier to extract the bolts? Or is it an absolutely no go!

    Thanks a bunch!

You can drive without the rear anti sway bar, but you will have a bit of lean when heading into turns. Just reduce your speed, take your time and you'll be fine.
The only aftermarket sway bars that I know of is the AntiRock by currie, or there is one by TK I think. These are not cheap options however.

Removing old bolts frozen by corrosion is a difficult and time consuming job.
Before wrenching I use a torch and hammer.
Hit the bolt head many times. Heat and quench the bolt many times. Soak it with Kroil penetrating oil for seneral days. More hammering head of bolt. If any bolt threads show on back side wire brush them clean of rust.
First wrench is to "Tighten" the bolt a tiny amount. Them more Kroil and soak days. Finally try to loosen bolt a small amount. Then more Kroil. Then loosen more and it should come out.

A shop can drill it out with LH drill bit, weld a nut to the broken bolt stem, or liquify the bolt stem with a torch.

Feel free to drive around a bit with the rear sway bar deleted. Slow down before taking sharp turns. Do a few simulated emergency object avoidance maneuvers on a deserted road or parking lot at progressively faster speeds. You might decide to leave the rear sway bar deleted permanently!

So! I just torched the hell out of them and snapped off the welded nuts so I'll just replaced them with new bolts and nuts. I'm just not sure which bolts I should get. I guess standard hardware store bolts won't make it. How do I get new "auto suspension grade" bolts? Do I just go to my Toyota dealership?

Ace Hardware should have a good selection of metric bolts. Match the size. The metric equivalent of Grade 8 (can't remember ) should be good.

^^ 10.9 is the metric grade equivalent to 8.0
