From what I could tell, they’re supposed to be the same as the 5100’s except the 4600’s are non-adjustable and for stock height only.

The mystery for me is whether to do only the fronts or do all four but I will see how it drives after the fronts go on first and I’ll make a decision later.

    Stay tuned!

Passenger side it appears? Mine started doing this as well and have discolored. Who did you reach out to, to replace it?

A well-to-do guy in Minot, ND who usually gets a new vehicle and trades it back in to the same multi-line car/truck dealership every year, bought it (including the optional console safe!) for his wife who used it for 9 months and traded it in for something else. That is the story I got from the sales manager at that same dealership when I asked that same question. The Carfax supports that story. Apparently, that guy is a very popular customer at that dealership.

I have a dumb newbie question. 23 T4R stock, the trailer lights plug seem difficult to access. Up and under the bumper by the spare, is this correct?IMG_0902.jpg

Yeah that was one of the few things that were actually better on my third gen Tacoma than my 4Runner. It was much more convenient to have it right in the bumper. That's okay, the 4runner still has more things going for it than the Tacoma did lol.

Excuse my ignorance but I have seen a few people mention this and I am now curious. What exactly do they do just raise the seat so you can see better?

I know of the short extensions , but during snow, ice and salt season I don’t like exposing the main connection point.

Trailer connector relocate, tint, work lights, Pro wheels.
I went to the local truck accessories shop and found an extension that plugged right into the factory wiring and allowed me to relocate the OE connection point closer to the rear. I'll plan to get pics of it tomorrow. Doing so kept me from having the flap on the OE connector open all the time with an extension as you describe.

I wrote a little bit about the job in this thread.

No, they go under just the front of the seat. It provides more support under your thighs, just above the knees. I would get uncomfortable before I installed these, and now I'm always fine. If you can't seem to find a comfortable seating position, these are definitely worth a try. I do have power seats, and yet I still couldn't find the right position to make me comfortable. From what I've read on here, it seems to be mostly taller people that have this problem with no support under your lower thighs. I'm 6 feet, and it's made a world of difference for me. A word of advice, don't waste your money on the expensive ones that go for $100. They're just chunks of metal with 2 bolts: https://www.ebay.com/itm/405086617760

    I am now!
    Dude 80% is rad
Something like this cleans up that 3” of clearance I wanted.
All I use the factory hitch for is a steel cargo carrier basket, twice a year.
Even once I have my dom tubing installed back there, I like this. Also want some soft shackle friendly, bridal recovery points back there

Too poor to buy anything now
I'm too old and stiff to get down under the bumper to connect my trailer plug. I just ordered a relocation plate from Amazon. Someone else had said that they managed to move the original electrical plug to the new location without any extension. I'm gonna try that before I buy an extension.
