Food is expensive these days.

I jumbo can of:
Corn
Green beans
Whole tomatos
And cut up a big roast.
Bring to boil for about a half hour.
I use the water from the cans. And no seasonings

 

What do you have against adding seasoning, browning the meat, and using fresh vegetables?

A three egg omelet with bacon, cheese, tomato, more bacon and then....more bacon. With a side of coffee cake.

 

Sounds like a classic British recipe. They conquered the world to gather exotic spices, only to decide not to use any of them. By the way, keep the soup simmering, not boiling, and add the fresh vegetables in the last 10-15 minutes.

I made crispy pork belly, collard greens, and grits.

I sous vide the pork belly at 170° for around 20 hours, cooled it to room temperature, sliced it, and then pan fried it. The texture is basically perfect, but I guess I could have used a little more seasoning. Barbecue sauce fixed that. It's just a little crispy on the outside and melts right in your mouth. The best Pork Belly I have made so far by a long shot!

 

They opened a ColdStone here. Im on my 6th quart of ice cream and got two more in the freezer.
