Merry Christmas Eve, everyone! I hail from Mississippi, and until about 2 weeks ago, have never owned a Toyota, much less a 4Runner. I have owned Ford Edges for the past 10 years and this is whole different world to me. (btw, don't hate on my Edge, Nellie; she's a tuxedo black 2011 Limited with chrome wheels, and at 190k miles, she still has quite the giddy-up and a surprisingly kick ass stock stereo/speaker system). Anyway, after much searching, I landed on my 2020 SR5 Premium. She is stock as far as I know...although she seems a hair taller to me than some 4Runners?? It's probably because I'm not used to climbing up and down into a vehicle :D. Anyway, she's not 4x4, which is fine because I don't do any offroading. Any mods I do will be for comfort or looks. I think she's a looker with her nice shoes:wink:. I call her BB (big bitch) because she is like a whole ass truck to me! Wish me luck!20241213_070615.jpg

Kind of a weird topic, but I guess we all do at some point. My first time wasn't in a Toyota, but I can see how it could happen, big rear cargo area, especially with the rear seats folded down. Congratulations, I guess.

Welcome from Texas. Beautiful truck. It looks like your new ride may have gotten lifted a bit- In the front, and possibly the rear as well. When you have a chance get in there / under there and check to see if you have after-market shocks front and rear. Someone may have installed adjustable shocks up front and maybe taller springs or shocks in the rear as well. It looks great.

Welcome from S.E. Michigan. My wife loves her 2018 Ford Edge - (it is the last year with a gear shifter on the ctr console, and the 3.5 v6). We like to take the Edge on the longer road trips because it is more fuel efficient and is a bit more comfortable. The Edge lost it's spot in the garage to the 4R. Did your 2011 Edge have the 3.5 NA V6? Did you ever have any issues with it?
