It’s winter here in North Central WA State and I slid down my elevated and steep driveway and my front right tire hit my retaining wall block caps and pushed them a few feet! Luckily I’m running 285s so no damage to body however the darn green LDA light won’t turn off no matter what I troubleshoot! Says to ensure the sensor is clean, yes it is, nothing looks mangled underneath but any ideas to help would be greatly appreciated! I also read something that said to turn off all the settings that are on menu to see if that would help to reset but no such luck!

Could disconnect the battery.....let sit for 15 minutes......hook the cables back up and see if it'll clear!

    Oooh look, another mod.....
If your Toyota's LDA (Lane Departure Alert) light won't turn off, it usually means the system is still active and likely detecting lane markings, so try pressing and holding the dedicated LDA button on your steering wheel for a few seconds to disable the feature; check your vehicle's manual for the exact location and operation of this button.

Here are a few other things to check if the LDA light remains on:
    • Check your settings:
Navigate through your vehicle's infotainment system to verify that the LDA setting is not accidentally set to "on" with a high sensitivity level.
    • Clean the camera:
Dirt or debris on the camera used for lane detection could cause false alerts, so clean it carefully.
    • Check for road conditions:
LDA might be overly sensitive in certain weather conditions or on poorly marked roads.
    • Potential malfunction:
If the issue persists even after trying the above steps, it could indicate a system malfunction and might require a visit to your Toyota dealership for diagnostics.

Stupid question, did you try pushing the LDA button on the lower-right of the steering wheel? Could’ve been hit accidentally during the incident if you keep it off usually.

It being green tells me it’s just on and not throwing an error currently.

But if it says to check things like you say then never mind.

Green means the system is active. If you press the button and the green light is extinguished, that means you won't get an alert when you drift out of your lane.

I don’t have a green light, but if I drift out of my lane I have plenty of angry drivers honking at me. Works every time. ;)

^LDA is more for long distances through sparse areas where you might fall asleep.
