The sound only happens when I accelerate and mainly from 1500-2500 rpm (1700 rpm is when it really starts) and seems to be from the front engine bay.

I don’t see anything loose around my cats or heat shields, could it be a torque convertor issue?

Any help on where to look would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum if you haven't been welcomed as of yet.

I know you stated you checked the heat shields, but i hear two noises. One sounds like a rock in the shield and then a separate whine that changes with RPM.
Have you checked the transmission fluid level or had any recent transmission issues?

    Thanks for the welcome.

I'm going to take off the skid plates soon and give it a good look around as that is the last place for me to check.
And I hear the whine as well, my fluid is at the perfect level and is fairly clean but I had the transmission rebuilt just over two years ago and I've always had a P0770 from it.

I've changed the fluid, filter, and solenoids with no change to the code and by then the warranty period had expired from the shop before I could take it back.
    No unusual transmission issues though.
