Is your head unit (Radio) different from OEM, or did you recently change any sound components? Installed non-OEM stereos, radios, amplifiers, woofers, and the like can cause audible ground loop feedback. One clue is if the noise rises and falls with engine rpm. If this is the case, you can find many options on Amazon. Search "radio noise eliminator." If it's not from audio equipment, then I have no idea. I also have a 2005 Acura MDX Touring with a wine at medium to high speeds but it is a known issue related to the transmission. I have never heard of a similar problem with fourth-gen 4Runners. But, others on this forum may have more knowledge.

    Hi @ATworker,
someone told me it might be the ABS/ brake booster. I am not sure it is the source, but i heard to replace that assembly might be$3k.
anyone with experience with this replacement?

I don't have any experience in that. I have 239K on my 2007 4Runner with the original ABS/Boster with no issues. But looking on 4WD forums and searching that issue it is very possible that the diaphragm in the booster is leaking air or has some other issue causing the noise. There is a lot of discussion about noises from the ABS Boster. Here is another 4Runner blog where you can ask the same question if no one here has any experience with this.

$3K may be in line. I found this on that forum posted in 2018 so adjust the pricing accordingly,

not sure if this will help, but i replaced the abs brake booster in my 4runner in 2013 w/111k miles. for a while i kept hearing a regular squeaky noise from that area of the truck while driving. never stopped. toyota diagnosed a failing booster, quoted about $2500 for the job.

ended up buying a used unit and having my independent shop replace it. cost $150 for the unit and $250 for labor. at 200k now and haven't noticed an issue."

Thanks ATworker, for the feedback and effort to help me fix this issue.
I will work on looking for a used part and replacing soon.
I am not sure what would be the consequence of this happening when driving and needed to brake/reduce speed.
    Again, Thank you!!!
