    I would like to get a bit more torque and horsepower out of my 5th gen 4Runner's 4.0. Has anyone had good results with a cold air intake system and/or a tuner that you would recommend?? Thanks

    Dont waste your time
    Get an OTT (Overland Taylor Tune)
    There are tons of threads about them. Their tune will completely change how your vehicle feels, runs, drives, shifts, operates. This is the next best thing to a supercharger you can find and a LOT less money.

    A cold air intake is pointless and a waste of money. Get an OTT tune or even a re-gear (if you're going to run 35's).

    Tune and that’s about it besides a supercharger. Intake and exhaust only add noise.
