On my 2022 SR5 Premium 4WD, regarding the in-dash screen display- When I start the engine, the info screen display will always go to the “Map”.

Since I am rarely using that map display locally, I would prefer the display to prioritize going straight to the “Audio” display upon engine start-up, so I can use the features for the radio.

As it is now, I always have to reach up and push the Audio button to switch from map and bring up my audio controls.

Is there a way to re-program this display to prioritize the display to immediately select the audio screen upon engine start-up?

l briefly scanned the owner’s manual, but didn’t notice any instructions regarding this.

Thanks to anyone who knows if this can be changed.

There's an option to do this in the settings. My uncle's Lexus does the same thing.

    Oooh look, another mod.....
To set the home screen on a 2022 Toyota 4Runner infotainment system, press the "Menu" button, then navigate to "Setup", and select "Customize Home Screen" where you can choose which information and layout you want displayed on your home screen; you can adjust the display area and select which features you want readily accessible on the main screen.

A faster way to do it is to be on the screen you want and hold this button down for a few seconds. It'll ask to make it your set screen and that button will bring you back to that page when on another screen.

Thanks! I had no idea. Now that we are in the cold weather that will come in very useful. My gloves don't work on the touchscreen. That button and the others will get me where I want to be. Nice.

Any way to get a single screen on startup? 2 screens (split screen) seems to be the minimum from what I can tell through Customize Home Screen.

    Short answer: No.
Long answer: No, you cannot do that.

    I hope this helps.
