Which I know is the norm (air condenses when cooled/expands in when heated) My dash shows DS Frt press. @ 29 psig in orange & the other 3 @ 29 psig in the "white " Why the Orange, an "alert" to get my attention?? I know I need to go to garage & pump all to 32 psig when sitting & cold  I monitor my gauges & REALLY wish Mfg would standardly put Oil Press & Voltmeter are really important for monitoring systems. JMHO Flame away:)

I’ve had this happen in our Rav4 as well, I figured that that tire had just a little less air, like it has 17.1 psi, while the others have 17.7 psi. That’s at least what told my wife so she wouldn’t stress about it.

My Question W/Out looking in Owners manual (Lazy) is Why that DS Wheel is ::"Orange" in display? No Big Whoo. I'll air up all 4 tires to 32 psig

Because it’s considered a problem that it is that low, where as the others haven’t dropped enough to reach that status. Basically, the one tire has “lost” to large a percentage and the vehicle thinks there is a problem with that tire.

2023 still has that TPMS reset button on the knee bolster panel?

I had the orange alert show up after a cold snap as well. One tire was 27psi the rest were 30. My wife’s car, a 24 Acadia at4, sent us an email alert. All her tires were 30 psi but gmc recommended 34.

They all indicate 29 psig, but that's not necessarily what the sensor is reading.

Both 28.5 and 29.4 would show as 29 on the readout, for example. You have to think of that number as 29 +/- 0.5 psig when it says "29".

Yes I understand that. My question was why was D/S Frt in orange, while the other 3 weren't?

That one must be the lowest, and it's below the threshold while the others are not.

They should all alarm if they are low, so the other three must not have hit the threshold yet. That's my best educated guess.

If you drop those 3 tires another .5psi, they will turn orange, too. Even though they still might display as 29psi.

The TPMS registers psi to decimal points, they just don't show up on your display.

    Another aspect...
When the TPMS is "reset" with all 4 tires showing 32psi on the gauge cluster... the 4 tires might actually be...
    32.4psi
    31.7psi
    32.1psi
    31.9psi

You can see how the orange vs white isn't always gonna be exactly what you might think it should be based on the display.

That’s the behavior I’ve noticed when airing down for off road travel. One tire can be orange and another not, even if they show the same number.

As the tires warm up, you can see tires with the same pressure (on the display) change pressure at different times, which shows one was the low end of a number, while another was at the high end of the same number.

The "normal" pressure level stored in the system may be higher on that tire. i.e. the driver front tire was higher than the other three when the system was last initialized. In older models there was a small reset button by the hood latch. On yours it should be a menu item in the gauge cluster center screen. Refer to your owner's manual to re-initialize the system.
