Over my first year of owning (2010 Sr5) I have gradually knocked out the some a handful of boring upkeep/preventative maintenance gigs. Once I get my rust-proofing done in the next week or so I'd like to set my sights on some fun jobs. Looking at rocksliders, a rack, and setting up so some sort of cargo retainment solution. Besides that stuff what suggestions do you guys have? Additionally what are your guy's must know how maintenance jobs that you do on the regular, stuff you wish you knew when you were first starting out? This is my first car so I'm very new, I can change my oil and know where to put in new blinker fluid. Thanks for reading and looking forward to reading your guy's feedback!

Aftermarket belly armor. If you're getting sliders you'll need better protection than the factory skid plate stuff. I have these. The skids use brackets to connect to the sliders creating a cohesive unit that will turn the 4R into a tank. The price is competitive. They only come in bare metal. Coat them with POR-15 or "Steel It" and paint them whichever color you like.
