Gearhead Wanted

Hi! My Miracle Machine of 18 years just turned over 380k miles and the motor is starting to give up. I'm not the person to extend its life any longer and I need an actual truck that'll haul a horse trailer. I'd like to find MM a good gearhead home to have a third life. What's a reasonable price to ask? Not too much, but I'm not gonna give it away. Does anyone "know a guy"? Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Welcome! Also hard to say without a little bit more info, what’s wrong with the motor? Is the frame in good condition? Assuming 4x4 but the motor is shot and the frame is good you’re probably in the 2500 range. Assuming it’s just old and the frame is good - 4500 range. Assuming the frame has rust and the motor is shot, 800-1000 range

My baby is a V6 2x with a little rust we discovered when having the windshield replaced. It still runs, but piston #4 isn't firing. It needs a paint job, the interior is in good condition, but the running boards got a little tweaked when the wheels literally came off. For Californians it needs a lot of work to get smogged, though.
This is a perfect gearhead project who can buy the parts and do the work themselves. If this miracle machine can get into the right, caring hands I guarantee it'll run for another 25 years. I've had it for nearly 18 years with very low maintenance.

I doubt anyone is going to want to put in any serious work or money into a vehicle with that many miles. It would be a good first vehicle for a high school kid if can be fixed easily. What is the engine problem? Is it a simple ignition problem or a major cylinder/piston damage problem.
