If you think it is comparable in political-nature, give those posts a report, plenty tends to fall under the radar only to be zapped later.

The mirrors, I got from spottermirror.com with a slight discount for Thanksgiving/Black Friday.

They installed fine, although the directions state that the included wires (for the heater) aren’t required for installation but the connector prongs are farther apart than on the factory mirror and are required in my case.

It doesn’t have the plastic lip around the perimeter like the factory mirrors have and doesn’t feel as high quality so if you don’t care as much about spotter mirror location like I did, I’d consider the RAV4 mirror swap instead.

My driver’s side mirror has a tiny chip on the edge from one edge presumably bumping into the edge of the other mirror while I drove with them laying in the passenger seat, so definitely transport with more care than I did.

The tint itself was from AntiGlareCustom’s on Etsy.

I bought a set a while back but had to cut it to fit these mirrors. Not difficult and I did it before the mirrors were installed which made it easier. But I’m spotting a couple small bubbles I didn’t see before so whoops!

I’m not sure yet if the effort of tinting the spotter mirror was worth it yet.

I didn’t heat the clips like the instructions required and they all seem to have engaged fine. The factory mirrors came off mostly unscathed but I used a plastic trim prying tool and a half of a couple clips broke on the driver’s side mirror but it still looks like it’ll hold if I have to put them back.

You can report things that go against the CoC. There are very few of us moderating so every little bit helps.

Put one in the vise and yeated it with the impact. Didn't think the Milwaukee was going to do it, but she's a beast. There's 1/2 to 5/8" of thread gone. Guessing some of the metals didn't play well together.

$101 ?! Are you using Premium 93 octane? It takes any Regular such as 86 octane. It’ll save you thousands each year.

I have those too and love them! Well worth the money! 5-star customer service. I asked for extra Velcro and they sent it within the same day, no questions asked, and they didn’t even ask for extra money
Nope, using 87 octane. CA gas prices are insane.

And here I was complaining about 2.49 locally at Walmart in my Miss'ippi town. But according to Gasbuddy.com lowest in our state is $2.20. State average is $2.58.

I don't believe so. I bought one of those "knock offs" from Amazon about a year ago that does strobe. It's worked great. No issues, but this looks way sharper. So if anyone is looking for a dark colored strobe one, inbox me. Will sell fairly cheap.

This is how much I paid for gas last Sunday in Arlington, Texas. Now, this was with my Kroger gas discount. I think it was $2.56 without it?

can you elaborate more? How is extended link causing boots damage? From what I understand there is technically nothing to gain when you extend your link, so this was odd to me in the first place when I read that they somehow affect the lifespan of your CVs ? How?

Damn HEB ran Kroger and Albertsons out of SA and Austin in the 90s. HEB doesn't do things like this.

I pay that price per litre (approx. 4 litres per gallon). That is depressing. Canada is one of the largest, energy rich countries ran by idiots.

Made some storage space under the hood. Ammo can fits nicely in the C4 battery tray. Length is spot-on but the width of the can is 1 1/2" narrower than the tray. I'll have to take the can out for access to my gear, so I used wing nuts on the bracket. I'll probably put any recovery gear I can stuff in there. I have to pop the hood to turn on the winch, anyway.

Purdy new parts on my dirty ole girl. The pro truck served us well, but wanted to upgrade since the 2.0 kit came out (3 months after i installed the pro-truck) Need to get her all dialed in now. I sure hope Eibach doesn't come out with a Pro 3.0 kit.
