2024 Pro here. My headlights are set for “auto” and usually turn off after about 30 sec after exiting vehicle. This morning, as I was waiting outside a coffee shop, I turned off ignition, but didn’t get out of the car. I sat in the car for about 5 min without opening the doors but the headlights and parking lights never turned off. Had to manually turn them off.

This doesn’t seem normal. Is it?

You can turn the switch to off but yeah they should go off on their own on all models. Maybe disconnect the battery and let everything reset.

Open and close door, if lights still on after a few minutes you have a problem.

If you want lights to turn off right away, use remote lock button.

    Oooh look, another mod.....

This has happened to me. It was explained to me that because I shut off the engine and did not open/close the door the sensor wasn't triggered and the lights stayed on much longer.

Next time you're outside the coffee shop open and close the door after you shut off the truck. They'll shut off within 30 seconds.

Also the double lock press on the fob.

I think lights turn off in 30 sec after you lock the truck. Or after you open and close a door. If you leave it unlocked and don't touch doors - lights probably will turn off in 40 min - the same as interior lights when you forget to turn them off. It's my guess though, I haven't tested it : )

Not familiar with the Pro but my SR5 doesn’t have auto shutoff headlights. Even hitting the lock button a couple of times on the key fob will not turn off the headlights.
