Brought it home Saturday

I brought home (Northern Kentucky) a lightly used 2024 SR5 4x4 Saturday (25k miles). According to carfax it was a rental from Arizona.

I've been looking out for one of these for a while, but was put off by the high prices (imo). A very generous family member made it a reality this week!

We have been a single car family for almost 2 decades, and I'm still trying to wrap my head around having my own vehicle (It finally sank in yesterday that I can adjust the seats/mirrors without anyone complaining!)

My plan is to use this as an adventure truck to get my dog and my bicycle into fun adventures without leaving my wife stranded at home.

I took my doggo to the park today for her first ride and I'm hoping to get my bicycle out this weekend.

(I'm interested in any tips from dog owners who have dealt with dogs shy about getting comfortable in their truck)

I just took my little fella (96 lbs) around the neighborhood to get him used to the motion. Rolled the rear hatch down halfway, along with both passenger side windows which really increased his fun factor. Finally a two hour drive out to the desert where he REALLY enjoyed off-roading. By the inch it’s a cinch. Welcome aboard!
