Would love to trade my engineering skills for access to a full fab shop…would love to build my own sliders!

Blackstone Labs, the people who analyze engine oil for a living, say in their FAQs: "Oil is oil." The upshot being that any oil that meets the manufacturer's specifications and is changed at appropriate intervals along with the filter will be fine. Spend as much or as little as you like, but there won't be any significant difference in engine performance or longevity. You may feel better about buying one oil over another but your engine doesn't care. I buy the 6-qt. boxes of Chevron Havoline Full Synthetic 5W-20 at Walmart b/c the cost is very low, the quantity fits the V6's 5.5 qt. capacity, and I can recycle the box*. Engine's clean and smooth at 266K miles.

("You know, most recycled items end up in the trash anyway." Yeah, maybe, but I focus on doing what's within my control.)

I think besides buying the 4runner (in April), Window Tint, PPF, woolwax, and stereo equipment is enough for me this year... For Black Friday, I did pick-up some Dynamic Diode XPR 921 Reverse Bulbs and 2 things from 4Runner Lifestyle (Sunglass holder, locking gas cap). I also bought tools from Harbor Freight (jack, jack stands, and impact sockets).

I hear the XPR 921 Bulbs have fitment issues on some Pro and ORP models, but I'm deciding to roll the dice to see how they work. I wasn't sold on the Tail Lights as Reverse mod that they sold as I don't mind the amber lights on the trucks and prefer them to match the front.

I don't think the turn by tail is just to get rid of the amber. It makes the reverse lights actually functional. Lights up EVERYTHING when I backed up. I regret getting rid of them but my buddy gave me a great deal on some morimoto taillights.

I love this lantern. Bought 1 for camping a few years ago and it was so useful, I bought 2 more. I keep them with my emergency closet in case the power goes out and take them out when I go camping.

All I want for Christmas is a reasonably priced dash cam that can plug into the USB port on my 2024 4Runner SR5.
Amazon, are out there with such a product?
