Hey guys, josh at tacotunes here, just testing the waters since we've been flooded with 4Runner requests.
How many would be interested in buying audio products such as mounts, speakers and subs for your 4Runner. I've seen a lot of y'all have been saying how much of a pain it is to make mounts and such, no worries, we have a 4 runner coming in next week I believe and we will be offering mounts, speakers, and sub soloutios for your 4Runner!
We will be aiming towards the newer models, but just testing the waters to see how hall will feel about very easy DIY audio products :) please comment if you are interested :)

I would be interested in a sub box. I have a few kicker 10's already. The box would have to mount on the side to keep the cargo area open.

Were trying to get ideas from you guys that would be most convenient for boxes for the 4runner.
We though about doing a box you can't see that's hidden under the carpet in the back space. But we're open to ideas to make things easier for you guys

Would love to mount my amps currently modified Jack storage under pass rear seat in my 3rd gen to accommodate my 4 channel and my sub amp is sticking out the back under my seat...it would be nice under the rear seat if it wasn't for the gas tank. Thought about mounting behind the rear side panels... But haven't ventured that far.

Would be a great idea for some kind of rear storage insert that if u don't have a spare tire underneath.... Could cut a hole through the rear floor and drop in some kind of insert.....????? For amps hidden sub or just plain hidden storage......... ®©™…...

I have a 2014 and would definitely be interested in hidden sub/amps and diy speaker upgrades. Subscribed

I like that idea a lot as I use the rear space for storage. For those with the sliding cargo tray there is some space underneath when tray is open. Only issue would be air flow with tray closed.

Is there anything that can be built and placed on the sides? I use my storage space all the time for my sons wheel chair. I have the sliding cargo tray but there's really not much room actually less then under the front seats. Josh I live in SATX if Taco Tunes wants to use my 4RUNNER for mock up's I'm down.

3rd gen but similar idea as the rest, over the wheel wheel on the side to keep the storage use at most of its potential..would be rad!

5th gen here and I would love to have a sub box that doesn't take up the whole cargo area. Something that fit against the side of the cargo area and was discrete would be cool. That's really the only thing holding me back from buying subs.

Lets wake this back up. How about a box that goes in the right side quarter panel? Sell it with a template to cut out the plastic as well ad a framed out cloth grill that mounts to the outside, screws on from the inside. I plan to glass my own however there should be a market for it.

Hey Josh, Has taco tunes come up with any 2017 4Runner sub box designs yet. Just was checking. Audiodesigns has one on there web site for the 4runner that is available. checking to compare with your company. I have a awesome system in my tacoma now which i will be pulling out. Going to pick up this week my 2017 Pro 4Runner. Planning on doing a system in that. The hold up will be the subwoofer. Any info. Thanks Don.

Just bought a '17 Limited with the JBL system and would love to upgrade the sub to something that hits the lower notes. I looked at your site as soon as I bought it since I did upgrade my '09 Taco and my '14 Tundra with TacoTunes, but didn't see anything.

I'd love a 3-10"" enclosure that would fit under the back seat... My back cargo is TOO valuble but would love a bit of puch... ya know?
