    Hello 4Runner Owners,

My Apple CarPlay doesnt seem to want to connect anymore. Ive removed devices, readded to no avail. Oftentimes I lose audio where a song from my iPhone 16ProMax is playing but there is not sound. Any ideas as Im at a loss.

    Thank you, Bill

    I presume you've tried a different cord?

I had the same issue with my '23 SR5P
Although I use Android, I bought a dongle that supports both Apple CP and Android. Since I plugged that in, I haven't had one problem.

Mine would keep cutting out sometime every few minutes, sometime after a few seconds, then re-connect. The dongle made that go away. Also, it would automatically turn down the volume when it disconnected and then reconnected. Check your volume control button if that happens.

    Good luck.

There must be something in the IOS. My “hey Siri” works but I can’t reply to messages. All software is up to date. All Apple recommendations have been tried. I feel like I’m missing something simple but don’t know what it is.
