    Hey Folks!

I am new to these forums, but have been driving my 2003 4runner SR5 for almost a decade now. It is my favorite vehicle I have ever owned hands down.

I recently read on the forums that it might be possible with some slight modifications to get head and tail light assemblies from a 2006-2009 4runner to fit my vehicle. Does anyone have any ideas as to where I might be able to find a set inexpensively?

My brother and I own a 3d Printing shop and so if they are not an exact fit, it is likely we will be able to print a fitment solution.

As I get older my night vision is deteriorating at an alarming rate and I have already done just about all I can do in terms of refurbishing my old headlights and would very much like to upgrade to LED or HID projector style lights, not just for the aesthetics. Does anyone on the forum have a similar issue with their night vision? Any recommendations on what is the best light hue or intensity for helping with this?

I also plan to get fog lights installed in the blank spots that came from the factory with no lights installed.

Anyways, been following these boards for a minute but this is my first post! I hope you all can give me a hand!

guess by now you've put some lights upgrade . If not, I got the whole LED assembly for my 03. off eBay. very easy plug n play. i've tried led headlights (that light up everything) off eBay and really easy to plug in. So for nights. I use ZXE silver star from Advanced auto #9006, they are bright and show good aiming. If needed can raise the aiming too. I have the projector fog lights and trying the LED's in them. don't work as well as aftermarket led's. you can tell which is the LED on high beam :)IMG_2953.jpgIMG_3022.jpg

I have a set of OEM headlights from my '06 that you could have if you pay for shipping. The passenger has a condensation issue but I would imagine that it could be taken care of with some silicone. I also have a set of blacked out that I am no longer in need of but they had very poor light throw so I took them off and put a set of black bezel ones on. Both sets of headlights are projector and are still clear. I'm in Fort Wayne, IN if you're close, we could meet up.

I had an ‘04 and had 35w 4300k HID bulbs in the low beams and they actually worked very well. The design of the reflector for those years produced a decent beam with minimal scatter.
