    Really? Wow, this is the first I have heard this. We did wool wax everywhere we could possibly get to on our '24, but if there was already some wax in there, that is great news.

    Nope. Fully boxed frame and acres of welds encourage rust. My 4Runner came with a thick layer of silt in the frame rails; took me 20 minutes with a garden hose to flush out most of it. This was before Toyota learned to plug the tooling holes on the frame. Toyota should have applied cavity wax since the beginning instead of spending money on gimmicks like soft-close tailgate.
