    Hi there,

Greetings from the wet Coast of Canada!

I'm a longtime Toyota owner, worked in high school part-time at a Toyota dealer. Saw the first ever "SR5" being unloaded at the dealership I worked at in a small town in southern Ontario -- lime green coloured thing.

Now in Vancouver, and have owned five 4Runners, in sequence, currently a 4th gen Salsa Pearl, and am working on trying to purchase a 5th gen. (We'll see how that goes.)

    Thanks,
    Fred

Welcome--you are in a beautiful city for sure! I used to spend time out there in B.C. with family who always teased me about moving out that way but the taxes were much too high for me. I in SE Michigan probably close to your Southern Ontario town (love hanging out at Pt. Pelee and fishing the lake that way).

Thanks! I used to live in west Michigan many years ago.

I remember pretty being able to HEAR my vehicles rusting if you stood outside long enough.... ;)

Yep you are correct that is why they call it the “rust belt” and that’s why my 4R gets tucked away in the winter to preserve that frame. It has lot of trips to catch a lot of walleyes planned next spring. No rust allowed
