How much you got left to pay-off your rig?

2022 ORP w/10K miles. Book is still in the high $30Ks so I feel pretty good about that.

 

A well-off friend once told me the way to amass a healthy nest-egg is to save up twice the value of something you want to buy. If by the time you have saved up that amount you will know if it is something you really wanted/need. I applied this to the purchase of my first T4R and this current one. Have a decent nest egg and zero debt.

 

Paid off my house a little over 10 years ago. Best damn thing we ever did besides buying this house 38 years ago at $165,000. Add on a couple of zeros for todays value

 

That must be some house if it's worth $16.5 million today!

From what I read it appears that 4Runner owners not only want a dependable long lasting vehicle they are pretty savvy with their $.

 

Got the rig 3 months ago… got a long long time to go (69 months now to be exact) lol it’s fine though happy with that.

 

I was fortunate and blessed to not have a loan on the T4R.

 

I was also blessed similarly. Although I think any of us here who own a 4R are blessed in general. Many will never own such a vehicle.

 

Owe something like $13k on my 2024 I got in April. My wife’s Hyundai was 2 years old yesterday and she hasn’t even turned 10k on it. And it’s a 0% loan so not really worried about paying the $3500 on it all at once. Paid our house off 16 years ago and I don’t plan on ever having another home loan. For those of you who are young, remember, it doesn’t matter how much you save. It matters how long.
