1000milenoil change and wring filter!

    So had dealership do an 1000 mi oil change and they put a 04152-yzza4 oil filter and not a yzza5. Is this going to cause issues? I plan to call them tomorrow but hope it doesn’t damage anything.

    Should have done it yourself at 5K without any crackstone crabs testing.

    Did you pull off the filter cap and physically check, or just going off the invoice? A4 is a good 30mm taller than A5. I don't think it would fit in the 4Runner filter housing unless it's crushed:

    A4's O-ring is also 2mm smaller, which would be another indicator to the lube tech that it's the wrong filter.

    I don’t have a way to check and haven’t ever done oil changes myself. It was on the invoice. Gasket part number listed is 90430-12031
