IMG_4354.jpg Her: did you really have to buy 3 sets?

I like the bronze but I’m not sure it’s age appropriate for me. The less I get noticed, the better.

Bronze has no age connotation in my mind. I don’t think I’d mind bronze or black but I like grey the most. I’d probably be a cheap bastard and let price decide.

Grey. Agree with the ease of cleaning (TRDOR wheels are easiest to clean), and not a fan of bronze in most situations.

I am leaning towards the grey, but the bronze takes 3rd for sure. In coupes the black and bronze can work, but on larger vehicles the imbalance throws it off.

This. I'm not a fan of those wheels in general, but I am a fan of not spending $$ on wheels if you already have a perfectly good set.

thanks all, I decided i'm going to go with the grey. I'll list the black set and the bronze set on the wheels/tires FS board.

I personally like them all a lot, I have been day dreaming about the new rims we’ll throw on our black ORP.

I think grey is most under stated and “stock” looking.

black on black is starting to be a bit overplayed and the red center caps clash.

bronze is sick but I dunno if you wanna be the guy with the bronze wheels lol you will look more “heavily” modded just from that. Just because they are bronze.

I dithered around on wheels for a couple years without making a decision. My stock OR wheels ended out growing on me. Since my 4runner is Black, the bling keeps it from disappearing…

I know you already decided, so I'll weigh in just for fun: I have bronze wheels and I think they look good on pretty much every color of 4Runner OTHER than black. For some reason they look too "bling" for me on a black truck, but not on the others.

Agreed. Black vehicles with bronze wheels look very blingy. My Barcelona red SloRunner came with bronze wheels; part of the 40th Anniversary package. I think it really suits the vehicle well. Sure, it's a little blingy, but not that much.

Whenever I cruise into my neighborhood all the guys give me that "Sup man, love your pimp ass truck!" head nod when I cruise past.

Now that your life is no longer in jeopardy, I'm curious - which one would your wife have picked after she offed you, had you not decided?? :D

Wife couldn't give a shit which wheels I put on it, she just wants me to stop buying new ones and stacking them up in the garage. She did however suggest that I stick with the black ones .... primarily because they cost me an extra $1750 on the window sticker.

I'll get the black and bronze sets up on the for sale board by the end of the week. Will be pickup only in NY/NJ/PA area as I think shipping would be cost prohibitive.
