What mileage are you changing these?

I think I'll change mine out while I'm tackling the spark plugs.

Anyone have a part number for the PCV valve? One online dealers site gave me 2 different part numbers and another dealers site gave me a third.

It’s not a maintenance item so there’s no mileage of when you change them. No one knew about them until the one unnecessary maintenance video came out.

Edit: In before someone says it’s cheap insurance.

I changed mine at 167,000 miles last year.
I am assuming every 80 to 100k should be a good interval. Not a maintenance item but it's cheap and not really cumbersome to swap out.

Changed one at 100k. It did not rattle as much as a new one so it was obvious that it was starting to get plugged a little bit. How much? I don’t know and don’t really care. Some will say it’s not a maintenance item but lots of things on the 4Runner are not “maintenance items” but require replacement when not operating correctly so don’t mis understand that term like some on here and ignore it just like you would not ignore wheel bearings, idler pulleys etc. You will have to remove it to see if it needs to be replaced. You have a choice at that point to put it back on with the same one or replace it with a new one that is cheap.

I love the people who say it’s not a maintenance item. I’ll change mine at 80k. Then again, I change my oil every 5k miles and people here will swear that 10k is fine. Yeah it’s fine if you’re driving 100 miles a day on the highway

Typically, unless specified in the owners manual, I replace them at 100K miles, that seems to be when they start to get plugged.

    Thanks everyone!

There seems to be 3 different part numbers out there popping up. Anyone know which is the right one? The people that work the parts department near me are morons.

12204-31110 should be the correct part number.
