Wow, finally a forum where I can sign up and make a post! How innovative! :annoyed:

Anyways, have a question about winter tires- completely a newbie to tires.

I have a 2000 Toyota 4Runner SR5 2wd. I want dedicated snow tires on a set of dedicated rims, specifically Blizzak WS80 if possible. What are my options for sizing? I'm fine with a 15" or 16" tire - narrow is good. What confuses me is that my manual states two options for sizes and my current tires are neither of those - though close in size. If Blizzaks are not possible (doesn't seem so based on their tire/vehicle finder), what are my options with my 4Runner?

    Thanks!

More simply put - can I just buy any size rims and put the same size tires on them and slap them on my car? If not, what is my size range without modifications to the vehicle?

Tacoma whip, 99 console box, tru trac., steering wheel, PWMS and HVAC control out of a 99.
If your door placard is for a 16" wheel you cannot put a 15" wheel on. I think the original 15" size is 225/75R15 , but it's very common for people to use 235/75R15 as a replacement. The OEM 16" is 265/70R16, but you can squeeze a 265/75R16 in without issues, I'm currently running a 245/75R16 I got off of a 2016 Tacoma.

I had the 265/70/16 on my 02, and was very happy with them.
