    Hi y'all,

I just got a 1/2 gal Yeti Jug and I would love to find a place to mount it. I'm curious to what y'all have done for inspiration regarding larger water bottles and/or jugs!

    Show me what you've got!

    Thanks,
    Morgan

Didn't really realize a 1/2 gallon needed to be mounted.

Maybe remove the / and 12 gallon and now we talking.

That's huge. Is that part of a shower system or maybe fresh or gray water holding tank?

I'd imagine you could buy a roof rack. Usually those are rated for 350 pounds max when driving so just a heads up on that. Might need to drill holes to route the plumbing.

I've seen guys remove the shark fin antena in the back because it was no longer in use due to having an aftermarket stereo, and then use that stock hole to run stuff. Could be a good option.

Or maybe strap it into your passenger seat. Another option could be..do you want to tow a trailer?

It’s a thermos I would like to mount for a backup so it’s not rolling around. Helpful comments are appreciated.
But then yeah I do want a temporary shower or something to wash beach sand off and such

Bit of a paradox in your favor. If you need that much water, the truck's likely packed to some degree for some kinda trip - and the bottle can be tucked somewhere it won't roll around.

32oz Hydroflask fits in the cupholders without the inserts. So you can fit 4 of them for a full gallon.

Get 2 32 oz. Nalgene bottles. They fit in the cup holders if you take the inserts out. Done and mounted.

Is it for drinking while driving? Seems unwieldy.

I would use their mount on a molle panel on the rear side windows or bolt it to your center console so it hangs in the passenger area.
