I saw the pix last week from the initial build, i sure wish they picked a different color. I absolutely despise how much stuff is going purple, what sort of psyop is it, so many aftermarket suspensions, and big builds, everybody doing purple. :puke:

    All of them.
They would've sold a LOT more 6th gens if this is what was offered.

Looks like a 2-door Chevy Tracker on steroids.

Always wonder why if Ford and Jeep think the take rates on 2-door models is enough to justify their production, why Toyota hasn't followed suit with the 4Runner. Just more conservative bean counters at Toyota?

WHY is this vehicle necessary in life? If people are going to use it for surfing, roll the back window down and insert surfboards. Problem solved.

Ain't buying purple ANYTHING as a gimmick to purchase a new car. Don't get me started on the waves on the front of this thing.

I think most reasonable people would just buy a Tacoma and put their surfboards in the bed and keep the sand and saltwater outside of the vehicle. :)

I must not be reasonable because I'd rather have this 2-door removeable top 4runner, or even the open air LC concept, than my 5th gen. Never been a fan of the bodyline step up under the rear side windows but it looks perfect with the roof off

It's a design exercise and like most SEMA vehicles by manufacturers, will most likely never be made. Unfortunately

    All of them.
thats my guess. Id also assume they would have to change up quite a bit of tooling and run two separate assembly plants/lines to produce? The other issue is the maintenance, the one imaged had "in house" long travel and I doubt the average consumer would benefit/enjoy that. OH and the 37's, for any off-road use, I'd assume they'd have to beef up the T-case, differentials, transmission, and try to milk more power out of the engine UNLESS they bring back the V8? That's a lot of new R&D and cost.
