New to the forum. We just got a 2016 4Runner trail. It has the stock wheels (17 x 7.5). We want to swap out the wheels to an OEM wheel (Black). APPEARS there is 2 to pick from BUT I can't find any true answers.

    Wheel 1
This wheel is a direct fit: PTR20-35110-BK I very confident they fit no questioned ask.

    Wheel2
On the otherhand this wheel PTR56-89210-F2 we really like ... BUT it says 2022 - 2024 only. Everything I can see it has the same exact specs. So why does Toyota say not to use on a 2016 model? The offset for both wheel will be the same 4mm

    THANKS !!!

both will fit fine. one is a slightly older style and uses a different center cap.

Based on your post, Toyota does not say not to use on a 2016 model.

Keep in mind, the wheels you're looking at are 7" wide - not 7.5". That will only matter if you go wider than stock - some shops may not mount wider tires on the 7.0" wheels. But lots (!) of guys have gone to 285/70/17 on the 7" wheels.
