I took apart the harness for the front camera on a 2023 Limited. It has 4 wires - red, black, white, and green. I assume red is hot and green is ground. Anyone know what wire does what? I want to get creative and test a front HD camera and see what the display does.

I can check for you later this afternoon when I can take a look at the diagrams and give you wire IDs. Be careful testing them until you know which is each, because if memory serves one of them is ground, two are signal (+voltage) and one is a shielded ground. You don't want to short out the PVM ECU as that is a spendy module to replace.

Thank you. Had a hunch I'd fry it if I got loose with testing.

@tk421, here you go. White and Green are positive. Black and Red are grounds, and Grey/or Light Green depending on the year and end of the circuit is the shielded ground.

Thank you. So I am guessing white is data.

I honestly could not tell you which one is/are data there. I've never played around with any of the Toyota camera systems, so your guess is as good as mine. I think one of the positive voltage lines is a "on" signal from the PVMS ECU, but I might be wrong.

No worries. I just got an email from Natika on their pin layout and voltage for their front/back camera!!! I am going to try to test it out later this week but need to step down the voltage from 6v to 5v.
