    Hey all,

Looked around and searched on the forum and couldnt find it.

I'm swapping my a340f with a yarded out one and want to replace the seal on the back side of the trans where the transfer case connects.

To be clear, this is the seal where the shaft from the Tcase plugs into the back of the trans.

The existing seal has got the numbers 40.5-58-8 on there. Did a search but it comes nothing close on trying to find it. The parts stores cant point me in the right direction and the only toyota dealer here in town cant figure it out.

    Anyone ever replace this seal?

Tacoma whip, 99 console box, tru trac., steering wheel, PWMS and HVAC control out of a 99.
I have a couple numbers that will help. 9031140021 is a part number for the seal at the transfer input, and 9031140007 is the oil seal for the transfer case housing at the back of the transmission, or at least should be. Got these numbers from villagetoyota.com, I'v done that seal on 2005+ tacoma's but not yet on a 4runner.
