Hi I have a 2007 4Runner SR5 and I live in the Northeast and Rhode Island and I'm curious if there is anyone out there that is had frame rust issues I currently don't I'm thinking about undercoating wondering if I should?
The cost is about $1,500 to do it correctly my 4Runner is in excellent shape is it worth doing?
    Thanks for the input guys

If it is in good shape then take care of it if you plan on keeping it for a long time. $1500 to undercoat a vehicle! I'm in the wrong business! You can do it yourself for well, thousands cheaper. If you want to seal the inner frame, do that before you undercoat the outside of the frame. Get Eastwood internal frame coating (see link). Then Go on Amazon and look up Fluid Film. Buy six cans of that and get a pack of the extension wands also. Then goto Home Depot and get one of those disposable paint suits and a respirator. Then lay down a big tarp and goto town. Easy to do.

The frame seal is a one time deal but I fluid film mine yearly. They use salt here where I am and my 4 has no rust under it.

I would do the fluid film. Stay away from the think rubber type under coatings. They trap moister in causi g the frame to rust. You wouldn't know it until its bad.

    Is plasti-dip a mod?!
Fluid film all the way! Easy to do, and a lot cheaper than 1500!!
