Let my daughter use the 2011 while I took her 2022 Highlander to be serviced.

put in the apex chassis tie rods, these things are so much beefier than the stock ones. Also switched out my SPC's for the Dobinson Billet UCA's. I have gone through 3 ball joints and 2 sets of bushings on the SPC's in last 18 months, moving on.

I need to paint mine too. Looks like some rust behind the tie down hook.

Went to visit our daughter this past weekend and she had to go into work. Rather than go through the PITA of switching the car seats around, we took her Subaru and let her drive the 4Runner.

I'm surprised I got it back to be perfectly honest. She's a bit jelly.:p

I don't know, I'm definitely very partial to my wife's 24 Outback, that's a solid ride for sure.

I drove '21 through '23 Outbacks for a while. I'll admit to really liking them. I'd love for the 4Runner seat to have the adjustable thigh support that the Outback seat has.

Honestly, if I hadn't been able to get my 4Runner when I did, I would probably have ended up in an Outback turbo.

Same here, probably. My daughter's Subie is fun to drive, but oooh, those CVT transmissions scare me.

14 year-old commuter that spent much of its life in salty Quebec lol, the whole frame is rusty, but no holes. Don't be deceived by the front skid, which came from a 2023 Limited off FB Marketplace.

Easier to touch up paint than powder coat. I alway paint all my bumpers and sliders with zero issues.

Also, I work in aerospace with some baller welders and these welds are on point.

Couldn't agree more. We just picked up a 2025 Outback Touring XT a couple of weeks ago. The adjustable thigh support makes much more of a difference than I thought it would. I am a little over 6' and like the seat way back, very comfortable. However, I am always happy to get back in my truck...

4.5 hours is a nice long flight! I'd have to wear a Depends for anything over an hour. Longest flight I had was a Torrey Pines Glider Port south to Scripps Pier and back
a couple of times. North over the Torrey Pines Golf Course. Have you heard of some of the flights and altitude some guys have gotten riding the Sierra Wave?
Coming off of Palomar Mountain to the old landing area below, I could get an hour riding the thermals from the landing field below. That jump is closed now. I have an old black and white photo from around 1975 of my launch off the rim. Again, now closed.
