Are you talking about the mud flap? That’s all I see, although it does rub a little so need to do some minor cutting soon.

Finally had the Ruff Rug liner cut by an upholstery shop to fit around my Victory 4x4 drawers:

    IMG_1175.jpg

Could have probably shifted it a bit more to the right to get rid of the part that comes up on the drawers but hasn’t bothered me enough…..yet.

    IMG_1172.jpg

With the bumper cover attachment so my dog doesn’t scratch it up:

    IMG_1176.jpg

Only wish the material wasn’t as wrinkled, might look for a way to smooth it out a bit more. But it’s pretty thick stuff, especially with the added comfort foam option.

Otherwise, pretty happy with it as it should make protecting the interior and cleaning up after my dog much easier. Doesn’t move around at all after I added even more double sided velcro underneath.

Did some rearranging on the truck today nothing special. Moved my shovel to the ladder from a window panel. Love it so far can't really see it in rear view and it's not on my back up cam. Moved to one rotopax on each window panel as when I had two on each it rattled something fierce.

I bought two 6 inch foam mattresses today. Usually just one person sleeps in the back but my wife is mentioning she would like to give it a shot since we saw some nice campground in the sierras that won’t fit our travel trailers. Tents are out of the question for her. I’ll see how it goes

Touched up some minor scratches on the plastic nose of my 5 month old 4Runner. Amazing how little paint issues can catch your eye and bug the hell out of you
until you address it with touch up paint. When I was much younger I used to be a detailer at a British Leyland Dealership (Jags, Jensen's, MG's) and that where I learned
how to use touch up paint. I still have a pretty steady hand (when I don't drink too much the night before)

Care to share any details for this. I have to touch up my 4Runner and my wife's BMW. Both are white. Thanks!

Do you have a 3rd row? Building a platform or just sleeping on the foam?

I built a platform, carpeted it and made Reflectx window coverings for my previous Rav4. Fist time my wife slept back there she was shocked at how 'nice' it was for sleeping in a car. What made the difference was all windows being covered-privacy and flat sleeping surface.

Nice setup. When you have the mattress on, are you able to sit up in inside the 4runner?

    Thanks!

I am 6'-3" 225lbs and I can sit up inside the 4Runner. Lessons learned though, remove rear seat bottoms for an extra 4-6" and buy the 4" foam mattress (the 2" wasn't plush enough to support even my wife let alone me)

Maybe my last load of block for the patio wall. 4Runner towed it nicely at 60-65. Had some help too.

I ordered this one on Amazon (2") but I will order the 4". I liked the price and I could cut it really easily to fit the back.

#1 Go to the dealership for your touchup paint (Yes, I got lucky once purchasing on Amazon)
    #2 Shake the container well
#3 Mine had a little rubber nub on the end of the container, I think that was for cleaning out the scratch or smoothing any rough paint edges (Old School we didn't have that)
#4 Don't drink too much the night before
#5 Use your free hand to lay flat below the area to touch up and steady your brush hand on top of the free hand. I sat in a folding chair.
#6 Load your brush sparingly, don't glob on the paint. Use an even steady stroke if it's a long scratch. If it's more of a paint "pit" you can dab in the paint.
(The paint will self level as it dries)
#7 Don't expect to complete the touch up job in one shot. It make take a second try or even a 3rd for a good job.
#8 Don't ask your wife what she thinks.
#9 Maybe practice on a spot that's not easily seen in case you have the shakes.

    Good Luck!

If you search “go to foam 6 inch” it will come up. $42 for a 24x72 piece

Added the 6” foam mattress today previously was on two stacked 3” but realized if I’m going to be winter camping I need to be comfortable for the 12 or so hours I’m stuck in here. Cut the left one short so I can keep the seat bottom installed (I remove the right seat bottom)

We came back through Chattanooga to try our hand at hang gliding. Much to my wife's satisfaction, they weren't open that day.

Yes. My wife had never done the hang glider thing. I was hoping to take her.
I have never been to this port before.

I used to fly hangliders back in the mid 70's. Torrey Pines, Palomar Mountain, Rincon Mountain. Photo is of a friend of mine, Burke Ewing.
Old Dude still flys! Says he's heading to Switzerland to fly Interlochen I believe he said. Guy used to be a maniac, first flight off of San Jacinto Mtn.
into Palm Springs. First Balloon drop. There's an old book with photos that you might find interesting, "The Flyingest Flying" Photos by Steven McCarrolBurke & Curtis.jpg
