Dallas Shop for brake Work

    My son has a 2014 4Runner and it needs new brakes, rotors and pads. He normally does pad changes himself but doesn't feel comfortable doing a rotor swap.

    Any one have any suggestions on reputable shops that can do this work? Want to stay away form the dealer

    TRD Wheels, exhaust and skid plate
    Completely understand knowing your boundaries and respect that. But rotor swaps are the easiest part of the brakes. Plenty of videos.

    I didn't realize how easy it was, just watched a video. Think we will tackle this ourselves this weekend

    If they’re stuck on the hub whack the backside with a hammer or there is a hole that you can put a bolt in and impact or ratchet them off. Just remember to clean the new rotors with brake clean and put some anti seize on the hub. There is a great video on YouTube. Search Viking Garage Brakes and watch his video. He is actually a certified Toyota technician and 4Runner guy
