Hypothetically the 4th gen frames are similar to the 5th gen frames

Does that mean I can directly install 5th gen rock sliders on my 4th gen or does it need modifications to fit?

    Oooh look, another mod.....
The word similar does not mean "the same or identical", and because of that.....you will need to make modifications for 4th gen sliders to fit your 5th gen.

Honestly, I don't really know of anyone who has tried this successfully or unsuccessfully. But, I know that there are differences with suspension, so I would not assume that you're safe. Hopefully somebody will have a more definitive answer for you.

Yeah I heard from other past discussions that some 5th gen aftermarket rock sliders were able to bolt onto the 4th gens. I’m not afraid of some modifications but just want to see if anyone has done it and knows a thing or two about it.
